Cookie Policy.
For your reviewer · not shown to the public
This page explains the site’s cookies; the consent banner is the practical control. If you are reviewing it, please confirm:
- The cookie table matches the cookies actually set in production — worth a re-scan once the site is live.
- Non-essential cookies are blocked until consent is given (PECR) — implemented via the first-visit banner.
- Analytics and embedded maps load only after the visitor grants consent.
01 · What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work the same way for the purposes of this policy. They are used to remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and — in some categories — to personalise advertising.
02 · What we use them for
We use the minimum set of cookies needed to run the site and to measure how well it works. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
03 · Categories
| Category | What they do | Consent required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Booking flow, security, load balancing | No — without these, the site wouldn't work |
| Analytics | Anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics 4 (page views, session duration, source channel) | Yes |
| Marketing | Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking, so we can tell which ad you clicked | Yes |
| Chatbot | Mia's chat session, so it remembers what you've already asked it during a visit | Yes |
04 · Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use to run the site: Phorest (for booking), Google (for Analytics and Ads), Meta (for Pixel), and our chatbot provider for Mia. Each of those services has its own privacy policy, and they only run with your consent.
05 · How to control them
You can accept or reject each category in the consent banner that appears on your first visit. You can change your choices any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — though doing so may break the booking flow, which uses strictly-necessary cookies.
