About the photographs
How we shoot them, and what they're for.
Are these all real Mikki's clients?
Yes. Every image is a client of the clinic at 10 Minories. We don't use stock, library, or stitched-together images. Each photograph is taken with written consent on a release form the client signs.
Why list the Fitzpatrick type?
Because it matters. A "great result" on Fitzpatrick II looks different from a great result on Fitzpatrick V — both because the contrast against skin reads differently in photographs and because the technique adjusts. We list the type so you can find clients close to your own and judge for yourself.
What about retouching?
None beyond white-balance correction. We match lighting between the before and after shots; we don't soften skin, remove blemishes, or recolour. If you spot a stray detail in a photograph, that's the photograph being honest with you.
Can I be in the gallery?
Only with your written consent, and only after a full course is complete. We never photograph anyone who hasn't asked to be photographed, and we never name anyone in captions.
